You can use the silicone food lids to store, cover or transport all kinds of food or drink. The food lids fit round containers and close completely tightly, so the food stays fresh longer. How should they be used?
The silicone is very flexible and can be stretched over most containers. You need to find a size that fits roughly in size and then stretch it. The silicone lids are suitable for many containers, fruits and vegetables, but not all
You can put the silicone lid on pots, bowls, glasses, cans or directly on food
1. Cover the container and keep to one side
2. Stretch the silicone lid to the other side to fit the container
3. Press on the top of the lid while pulling on the grooves in the lid to create a vacuum effect
4. You should be able to pull the top/middle of the lid without it coming off or moving. Then it's properly set up
5. Make sure that the container you put the lid on is dry on all sides. Otherwise, the lid may come off
If you want to use it as a cover in the microwave, put the lid on loosely so that it is not airtight
Are they durable?
The silicone lids are very durable and can withstand extreme temperatures between -40C and 230C
They are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe
Cleaning
The silicone lids can be put directly in the dishwasher. Are also very easy to wash by hand
